Dean Knox Named 2021 Andrew Carnegie Fellow

Dean Knox, Assistant Professor of Operations, Information, and Decisions and Faculty Fellow of Analytics at Wharton, was selected to receive a 2021 Andrew Carnegie Fellowship from Carnegie Corporation of New York. The philanthropic foundation will grant each fellow $200,000 to fund significant research and writing in the social sciences and humanities that address important and enduring issues confronting our society. This grant will support Professor Knox’s research agenda which includes developing tools to analyze policing data, including large volumes of body-worn camera video, to monitor racial bias and suggest evidence-based reforms.
